WPF

I just returned from an interesting day at my first World Pulse Festival (first one as a Christian, that is). After waking up at 5:30am, I wasn't in the greatest moods to go. But, I pressed on. Our group arrived at the site around 8:15 and from then until about 11 it was an on and off pouring down from the sky. Lovely. Not really. We were cold, wet, cranky, sleepy, and WET. I figured with weather like this, there was no need to put sunscreen on, so I didn't. Anyways, at 11, the Robbie Seay Band came up, followed by Ayeisha Woods. I started getting disgruntled because I only knew about 4 songs by the end of those sets. Then, the wonderfully awesome Hawk Nelson, David Crowder Band, and Jeremy Camp played and I was having a blast!! The rain stopped, the sun came out, the skin was toasted. Haha. Overall, great day at the festival. Now, time for aloe!

On the plus side, I am going to tell people that I meant to get burnt today. Why? Because in one week I'll be peeling this gross skin off. It is going to be a physical sign of shedding the old and starting anew with my baptism next week!! Clever, eh? I'm getting extremely excited!! :)
