I enjoy a good run. Really, I do! I can't say I've always enjoyed running, but it has become a relaxing, de-stressing alone time for me and I love it! I wish I could say that since I graduated from high school, I've been keeping up with weekly runs to keep me in shape. Shoot, I wish I could say I've done that in the past month. But, well, like most young adults who become consumed with work or school or just pure lazyness, my running days have hardly existed. Thank goodness for this awesome event coming up in November! The 5KIN, which will be in it's second year, is coming on Saturday, Nov. 13th and I'm gearing up for it! Not only is it a fantastic way to get back into shape and keep myself disciplined, but the proceeds from the event are going towards something quite meaningful. Katherine, a NorthWood junior and a wonderful addition to our office staff, shares here on her blog about this awesome event.
So yeah, I shall keep this one short and sweet...mainly because my run of 2 and a half miles is making my legs feel like jello. Far from awesome, but in a few weeks I'll be lovin it!
