Kristy has left me. What ever will I do? How will I survive without her? I have no clue.
This past Friday, my partner in crime, fellow co-worker, close friend, and only other female in the office left me for Kenya. No worries, it's only 2 weeks. Ha! Only the busiest two weeks in Student Ministries! Well, maybe not quite the busiest, but definitely close! In the next two weeks, along with the help of the pastors and interns hopefully, I'll be responsible for...
-Junior High Hayride (picking up cookies, hot chocolate, donuts, setup/teardown, ultimate go-to person for detail stuff)
-Preteen Outreach (contact bus drivers, get petty cash, mail postcard, cancel driver if necessary)
-Winter Retreat (first deadline is next Sunday! I'll be in charge of setup/teardown of the table, running the table for a few shifts that morning, collecting money, entering names in the database/charts, mailing postcards to parents, putting forms in the binder, and making sure forms in the Ministry Center are always stocked)
-Silent Auction (collecting items and forms, placing in storage until Katia and I take pictures of everything for the website)
-5KIN (collecting forms, collecting money, sending money to front office)
-November Monthly (6 pages of student newsletter info for next month, print 860 copies of it, fold them in the folding machine, fold those in half, stuff the envelopes, put stickers on envelopes, get mailing bins from post office, fill out stupid paper work for bulk mailing of 803, stuff them in the bins, take all 7 bins to the post office, breathe!)
-Normal weekly stuff (Sunday/Wednesday attendance & setup for PT, JH, & SH, Monday meeting, bulletin announcements, random mailings, and lunch. Haha)
Well, that's not too much. Yeah right. Throw in the fact that I have midterms next week and we're there! Woohoo!!
**Disclaimer: do to the intense stressful workload listed above, it is very likely that I will not be posting in the next two weeks. And if I do not post after that, it simply means that I didn't survive. Hahaha. :)
